A bit of history first: Vernacular Etc. was created as a concept space and store of curated lifestyle, home and art, and was located at the entrance of Amagansett Village for 8 years. In 2022 it migrated to an online store that continues to offer a selection of beautifully designed and functional products, including glassware, ceramics, tabletop, jewelry, and personal accessories as well as original artwork. Our products are meant for both everyday use and aesthetic pleasure.

Born out of a passion for art and design, Vernacular Etc. purposefully draws from different design inspirations mixing modern and vintage, minimalist and bold. In addition to our design objects, we exhibit emerging artists and designers based out of New York City and Europe. We are very excited to announce our most recent collaboration with The Gatehouse, Home, Lifestyle & Coffee Shop in Upstate New York that recently opened on 129 Main Street, Morris, NY.
